BOMADI—Niger Delta ex-militants under the aegis of Coalition of Urhobo Ex-agitators in the amnesty programme, have congratulated the new chairman of the Niger Delta Amnesty programme, Brigadier-General Paul Boroh (rtd), saying that President Muhammadu Buhari’s   choice was acceptable by Niger Deltans.

Speaking in Ughelli, Delta State, president of the group, Mr. H. Ebirie, expressed the hope that Boroh’s would see to the successful conclusion of the programme, adding that ex-militants of Urhobo extraction have passed a vote of confidence in him considering his antecedents as an ex-soldier of high rank, who served successfully in the Nigerian army.

The group also commended Niger Delta ex-militants for their patience when President Buhari was consulting to fix the right person to occupy the office.
