Armed robbers, Wednesday morning, raided banks in Ikorodu, carting away unspecified amount of money.

Vanguard gathered the robbers attacked the banks located at Ipakodo Ebute, near Ogolonto in Ikorodu. They were said to have used speed boats in accessing the community, raiding First Bank and Zenith bank in the area.

The robbers came with 3  SUVs which were set ablaze, the fire escalated and spread to 3 other cars.

They escaped through the Origin Gardens, Ipakodo.

The Police has secured the area after the incident.
