WARRI—A chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, Mr Tam Odogwu, has expressed confidence in the Governor Ifeanyi Okowa-led government in the state, assuring Deltans that they would not be disappointed by the governor.

Odogwu, in a statement in Warri, said that the new government has plans to take Delta beyond the level where it is today, as the new leadership in the state will meet the aspirations of the people.

According to him, “I want to congratulate our focused and determined governor, Senator Okowa and his deputy, Mr. Kingsley Otuaro, on their emergence, as their leadership will take Delta to an enviable height.

“The people of the state deserve what they got by electing credible leaders and democrats such as Governor Okowa and  Otuaro.

“I want to assure Deltans that their vote was divinely directed as these two great sons of the state will not disappoint them. Deltans should be rest assured that their dreams and aspirations will be actualised in no distant time as they voted for the right persons.”
