Jos — The Middle Belt Youth Council, has pledged its support for the re-election bid of Presidential Goodluck Jonathan, saying that the President needs to be re-elected to complete the good projects he started.

The Youth Council at a briefing, yesterday, in Jos, Plateau State, reiterated that the President stood for the unity of Nigeria and had always given priority to policy-based administration.

National Leader of the council, Mr. Emmanuel Zopmal, noted that the President was a man who loves Nigeria and had never tampered with the political development of the country.

“We, as a people, have earlier declared our undiluted and total support for the re-election of President Jonathan. For the fact that President Jonathan’s administration is faced with the worst challenges that ever confronted Nigeria, does not mean he has failed because in the face of these daunting challenges, he has achieved a lot in education, transport, youth employment, among others.

“The Middle Belt will not vote General Muhammadu Buhari because his Fulani herdsmen have been persistently killing our people in Adamawa, Taraba, Benue, Plateau, Nasarawa, Southern Bauchi and Southern Kaduna.”

He berated the All Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential Candidate, Buhari for promising to bring back the abducted Chibok girls if elected as President, stressing, he should tell Nigerians where the innocent girls were hidden.
