With Nemanja Matic serving a one-match suspension, John Mikel Obi comes into the side for his first Premier League start of the season and partners Cesc Fabregas.

Up front, Diego Costa is available once again having missed Wednesday’s game and starts, with Didier Drogba dropping down to the bench.

There is a start for Sammy Ameobi I the Newcastle team.
