Dutse — THE Jigawa State Chapter of  All Farmers  Association of  Nigeria, AFAN,  Women  Wing  has appeal to the  Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources to fulfil the promise of providing fertilisers, chemicals, farming implements, improved varieties of seeds  as well as the cash  support.

Chairperson of the association, Hajiya Talle Adaha in interview, said the minister made the promise to them when he visited the state, adding that Federal Government should release N19 billion to support Jigawa State farmers.
Hajiya Talle lamented that even though women farmers in the state had registered with   GES Programme of the Federal Government, no single bag of fertilizer was allocated.
