The business of mobiles today is no longer about the name, screen or size. It’s the best of the technology in that device. A customer expects to get real value from the entire ecosystem surrounding the device.

Decision to buy a phone depends on one’s value expectation and proposition the device is able to bring about. It’s either you are deriving first hand information as fast as you want from the device or it’s making your easier one way or the other.

So, when Samsung debuted its latest smartphone the Galaxy S5, the features which made headlines, included the popular Finger Print scanner technology which provides ultimate security for usage and payment services; the IP67 Water and Dustproof technology with modifications in rubber seal surrounding it to prevent any leakages.

Another is the revamped S Health app and new heart-rate sensor on its back. The new S Health app can sync with Samsung’s Gear line of wearables, including the Gear Fit fitness band, and it offers guided coaching and feedback while you work out.

*SOS Alert : Just by three continuous press on power button , you can send SOS alerts to 4 pre designated numbers. These SOS message will be accompanied with Google Map Location of where the sender is, Photos, an audio of the environment of the user.

*Kids mode : This feature limits children’s access to apps which upon activation, the user has designate as Kids friendly.

* Privacy Mode : this allows  the user to hide documents, pictures, files which can only be visible with a certain unlock pattern.

*Tilt for play list : with this feature, while  a user is listening to a certain type of song, the phone can automatically look for similar other songs just by adjusting or tilting it horizontally.
