ADO EKITI—The Labour Party, LP, gubernatorial candidate in Ekiti State, Mr. Opeyemi Bamidele yesterday resumed his suspended electioneering campaign tour.
Fayemi faulted the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC- led government’s claim on free education and access to basic health care, saying “this runs contrary to what is on the ground.”
Bamidele noted that parents in rural areas pay through their noses to send their children to school.”
According to him, the existing health care centres are not properly equipped to cater for the residents.
Bamidele made this assertion during his electioneering campaign tour in communities and farm settlements in Ise/Orun Local Government Area.
The LP chieftain lamented how successive governments neglected them since the creation of the area council.
Bamidele took a swipe at the current administration for failing in its duties even with the huge debt incurred for projects without direct impact on the lives of the people.
