After a successful medical treatment abroad, the injured former Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship aspirant in Edo State, Mr. Kenneth Imansuangbon, yesterday, returned to Nigeria, describing the accident he was involved in as an assassination attempt on his life.
He wants the Inspector General of Police, Mr Mohammed Abubakar, to investigate the accident.

Imansuangbon, who is also the chairman of Pace Setters Schools in Abuja, sustained multiple injuries on his arms, legs and back when a trailer owned by Dangote Group ran into his car and crushed same on the Benin-Asaba Expressway.
Although, no life was lost in the crash, the PDP chieftain was flown to London for medical treatment after he was stabilised at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, UBTH.

Popularly called “rice man” because of his philanthropic gesture of distributing food  to less-privileged persons, Imansuagbon on arrival yesterday, was welcomed at the airport by friends, members of his family and PDP leaders  from Edo State.
