Mozambique coach Joao Chisano insists his side have nothing to lose ahead of their African Nations Championship fixture against Nigeria today.

The Mambas mentor beleives all the pressure will be on Nigeria in the highly-anticipated match, which he feels will be to Mozambique’s advantage.

“The Eagles are the big brothers in Africa, the African champions and the Coach is the African Coach of the Year, we don’t have any of those accolades, so pressure is on Nigeria not Mozambique,” Chisano said.

Chisano has also suggested that Nigeria will still be under considerable pressure, even if they record a win against Mozambique, which he feels hampers the African champions’ prospects of winning the tournament.

“With their massive fans and the vuvuzelas, Nigeria will again be under pressure to perform as African Champions,” added Chisano.
