YENAGOA—The Pere of Biseni Kingdom in Bayelsa State, HRM Akile Nwaku, Omide X, has called on the Inspector General of Police, to order the Commissioner of Police in-charge of X-Section, Force Criminal Investigation Department, CID, Abuja, Mr. Amodu Ali, to release the case file of his dynasty, which he alleged was withdrawn from a Bayelsa State High Court sitting in Yenagoa, in connivance with the OC Legal and AC State CID.
He said that after his palace was burnt down three years ago in a conspiracy, which was reported, investigated by the police and the culprits arrested, detained and were charged to court for arson, malicious damage and assault, a dramatic turn of events took place as the case file in the court was allegedly withdrawn by the former OC legal, DSP Agbeiwei, former AC State CID, who forwarded same to CP Ali, who was then CP ‘X’ Squad Section, ‘D’ Department, Force CID in 2010.
He alleged that the case file had been in possession of CP Ali for three years adding that he was made to travel to Abuja several times to retrieve the case file to Yenagoa without success.
