Adedoyin wants stakeholders meeting to revive industrial sector

BY DEMOLA AKINYEMI

ILORIN – An industrialist, Chief Samuel Adedoyin, has called for an urgent meeting of all stakeholders in the ailing sector to revive the industry and save the nation’s economy.

The Octogenarian industrialist, who spoke in an interview with journalists at his home town, Agbamu, in Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State during the burial of his aged mother Princess Racheal  Adedoyin, 118, said the meeting of the stakeholders had  become imperative because Nigeria’s economy cannot survive if the industrial sector was left to die without urgent actions taken to rescue it.

He said: “The state of the industry in Nigeria is very bad, to revive it demands that all the stakeholders should meet and proffer solution to the problem as the problem has gone beyond what a single person or group of people will just sit to find solution. It needs an all encompassing meeting of all the stakeholders.”
