IKEJA- The Lagos State Government has urged Lagosians to use this Saturday’s monthly environmental sanitation for the cleaning of drainage channels across the state.

The exercise lasts between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m.

Commissioner for the Environment, Mr. Tunji Bello, urged residents to join hands with the government to ensure a flood-free Lagos.

Bello said the ministry had intensified its mid-rain cleaning programme, after completing the pre-rain cleaning exercise.
