Lagos,(AFP) – Dozens of people who rushed to scoop up fuel after a petrol tanker tipped over were “caught in the blaze” when the vehicle caught fire, Military and Police spokesmen said on Thursday.

“People rushed there to scoop for fuel and there was a fire which consumed a lot of people,” said Rivers Police Spokesman Ben Ugwuegbulem, while military spokesman Onyema Nwachukwu said dozens “were caught in the blaze.” Details later
