.urges religious leaders to keep praying for Nigeria

ABUJA- THE Paramount Ruler of Garki Chiefdom in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, His Royal Highness, HRH, Alh. (Dr) Usman Nga Kupi, Sa’Peyi of Garki, weekend, played host to the delegation of the Founder and General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry (Deeper Life Bible Church), Pastor (Dr) William Folorunso Kumuyi ahead of the June edition of the Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK).

Kupi received the Kumuyi delegation at the Palace of the Sa’Peyi of Garki, which was led by Pastor Babatunde John Olusegun, who represented the State Overseer, Deeper Life Bible Church, FCT, Abuja, Pastor Edison Daminabo, along with other pastors, including Pastor Bassey and Brother Okon Mkpafit of Deeper Life Church, Abuja Region.

The Monarch said the Convener of the Global Crusade with Kumuyi, GCK, Pastor (Dr) William Kumuyi, was really led by God to hold the Crusade in the FCT at this time, and expressed optimism that the coming of Pastor Kumuyi to Abuja will be a turning point for the capital city and the entire nation.

He told the delegation that the Crusade is supported by the people of the FCT, and will ensure its success as the closest authority to the people in the FCT, and he said it will be successful. He also pledged to attend the Crusade.

Meanwhile, the courtesy visit by the delegation was to extend a formal invitation to the monarch on the Global Crusade holding in Abuja between the 24th – 25th June 2026 at the Deeper Life Bible Church Kado, Abuja by 5pm & the 26th – 29th June, 2026 at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.

The delegation expressed gratitude for the warm reception they received at very short notice and said the Crusade will bring a dramatic change in the lives of the people and also solutions to challenges in the lives of the people as God will use His minister, Pastor Kumuyi, to reach out to the people during the crusade.

The leader of the delegation, State Overseer, Deeper Life Bible Church, FCT, Pastor Edison Daminabo, represented by Pastor Babatunde Olusegun, commended the HRM for over three decades of peace in his community and entire domain.

Meanwhile, others who were in attendance at the palace during the courtesy visit include the Palace Council members, District, and Village Heads, respectively.

High point of the visit was a powerful prayer offered by the representative of the FCT Deeper Life Bible Church Overseer, Daminabo, Pastor Babatunde, for HRH, his immediate community and the entire Chiefdom for more grace, protection, peace, more years and sound health in the discharge of his responsibilities.

Also, in turn, the Sa’Peyi in response expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the delegation for recognising his domain at all times when such programmes are scheduled. He further stated that as a traditional leader, he is for all – Christian, Muslim and traditionalist.

He called on leaders to do the right thing, ensure the people have access to basic infrastructure that will ameliorate their plight, and said they should accept the preaching of clergymen to change the current narrative in the country, and urged religious leaders to keep praying for the country and also the leaders.
