The Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development in Kogi State, Hon. Aridaojo Monday Anyebe, has paid glowing tribute to former Governor of the state, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello,on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a visionary leader and a strong advocate for youth empowerment.
In a statement made available to journalists, Anyebe commended Bello’s tenure as one marked by bold leadership, strategic governance, and a deliberate effort to integrate young people into leadership and decision-making processes.
He noted that the former governor’s administration represented a defining era in Kogi State’s political history, particularly for its emphasis on creating opportunities for youths and fostering inclusive governance.
“His Excellency’s belief in the capacity of young people to drive governance and development remains one of his most enduring legacies,” the Commissioner stated.
Anyebe further praised Bello’s courage, resilience, and unwavering commitment to the growth and development of the state, adding that his leadership style continues to inspire many within and beyond Kogi.
He prayed for God’s continued guidance, good health, and wisdom for the former governor, expressing hope that Bello would continue to contribute meaningfully to national development.
Alhaji Yahaya Bello served as Governor of Kogi State from 2016 to 2024 and is widely recognized for his policies centered on youth inclusion and administrative reforms.
