Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the country are to get business support as Bankit has announced the launch of its Business Account alongside a Marketing Support Initiative aimed at empowering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the country.

According to the management of Bankit, the new Business Account allows customers to seamlessly switch between their personal and business accounts within a single app, eliminating the need for multiple banking platforms while providing greater convenience, visibility, and control over their finances.

Designed specifically for entrepreneurs, startups, freelancers, and small business owners, the solution simplifies payments, collections, and day-to-day financial management, enabling businesses to focus on growth.

As part of the initiative, Bankit will provide marketing support to selected SMEs, helping them increase brand visibility, attract new customers, and strengthen their market presence.

Speaking on the launch, Head of Marketing and Communications, Kingsley Ezenwa, said the initiative reflects Bankit’s commitment to supporting Nigeria’s entrepreneurial ecosystem beyond traditional banking services.

“Small businesses are the backbone of Nigeria’s economy, and we understand the challenges they face in managing finances and growing their brands.

“Our Business Account is designed to make banking simpler by allowing customers to switch effortlessly between personal and business banking within one app. Beyond banking, we are also investing in the growth of SMEs through marketing support that will help businesses reach more customers and unlock new opportunities,” he said.

Ezenwa added that Bankit remains focused on building solutions that are tailored to the needs of Nigerians, combining innovation, convenience, and security to create a better banking experience.

“Built by Nigerians for Nigerians, Bankit is a CBN-licensed digital bank with deposits insured by the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC). The platform offers secure and seamless financial services including transfers, payments, cards, savings, and business banking solutions that empower individuals and businesses to transact with confidence,” he revealed.

The launch of the Business Account and SME Marketing Support Initiative further reinforces Bankit’s mission to drive financial inclusion, support entrepreneurship, and provide innovative banking solutions that help Nigerians thrive in an increasingly digital economy.
