The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, ICAN, Lekki & District Society, has announced plans to host its 5th Investiture Ceremony on Sunday, June 14, 2026.

The event, scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at Lekki Peninsula II, would be presided by the 62nd President and Chairman of Governing Council of ICAN, Mrs. Queensley Seghosime, who is the chief host.

According to the district, the ceremony will feature the formal investiture of the 5th District Chairman, Adeyemi Adediran, alongside the swearing-in of the 2026/2027 executive committee members.

The investiture is expected to draw distinguished accountants, industry leaders, and stakeholders from across Lagos and beyond, as the district ushers in a new leadership team to drive its programmes for the year.

Organisers noted that the ceremony will not only celebrate the achievements of the outgoing executives but also set the tone for fresh initiatives aimed at strengthening professional development, networking, and community impact among members of the Lekki District.

The ICAN Lekki & District Society, one of the vibrant arms of the institute, has consistently championed excellence in accounting practice, capacity building, and mentorship for young professionals. The forthcoming investiture is seen as another milestone in consolidating its role within the broader ICAN community.
