Nigerians Unite for Tinubu/Shettima (NUFTS) has extended warm felicitations to former Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, on the occasion of her birthday, commemorated on June 12.

In a statement signed by its Secretary, Mr. Abdul Agbadi, on Friday, the group described Dr. Aliyu as “a symbol of resilience, grassroots connection, and purposeful leadership whose impact in the FCT remains visible and enduring.”

NUFTS noted that her tenure as Minister of State was marked by people-centred initiatives, inclusive governance, and a commitment to advancing the welfare of women, youth, and vulnerable communities.

“Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu represents the kind of leadership Nigeria needs at this critical time: empathetic, strategic, and deeply committed to national development,” the statement read.

The group further highlighted that her contributions to governance and community development continue to inspire a new generation of leaders, particularly women in politics.

“As the nation marks June 12 (a day symbolic of democracy and sacrifice), it is fitting that we celebrate a leader whose life reflects service, courage, and dedication to the Nigerian project,” NUFTS added.

NUFTS prayed for continued strength, wisdom, and greater opportunities for Dr. Aliyu to serve the nation.

“Her story is far from over; Nigeria still stands to benefit immensely from her experience and leadership,” the statement said.
