The organizers of the Eko Heritage Awards have announced the recipients of its 2026 honorary recognitions and voted categories ahead of the awards gala scheduled to hold on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the Lagos Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Now in its sixth edition, the Eko Heritage Awards recognizes individuals, professionals, entrepreneurs, creatives, and organizations whose work has contributed to the cultural, social, and economic development of Lagos State and Nigeria.
The 2026 edition is themed “From Adversity to Stardom,” highlighting stories of resilience, achievement, and impact across various sectors.
Among the honorary recipients announced are Uche Pedro, Dickson Aligbe, Dr. Ifeanyi Nwachukwu, Dr. Mbamalu Valentine, Adewale Bright Nfor, Amb. Dr. Ekwutoziam Ashiedu Ogwus Chinedu, Adebola Williams, and Dr. Ebosetale Okhueleigbe. Other honorary award recipients includes DJ Kelblizz, Joseph and Emmanuel Okon, and Aisha Abubakar.
Corporate and organizational honorees include Wake Up Nigeria, TVC Communications, Checkers Africa Limited, Boiling Point Creatives, and several other brands acknowledged for their contributions within their respective industries.
The organizers also confirmed winners in the public-voted categories, including content creator Carter Efe, media personality Mayor FROSH, Samuel Banks, Chidera Madu, Husband Material, DJ Yinx, Jochebeed Moshood, Kaycee, and other notable personalities.
Additional brands scheduled for recognition include Goldit Event Solutions, Bosslady Hairline, Classietabbie Beauty Empire, Top Studio, and Royal Elite Tours for their contributions to business growth and community development.
All recipients are expected to be formally presented with their awards during the gala ceremony on July 25, 2026.
The organizers reiterated their commitment to promoting and honoring individuals and brands making measurable impact while advancing the cultural and economic heritage of Lagos State and Nigeria.
