Anyaso Foundation Partners US-based charity to establish 13 ward community food banks

Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso, Founder of the Chima Anyaso Foundation and Labour Party Candidate for Bende Federal Constituency (2027), has finalized a strategic international partnership aimed at tackling food insecurity across Bende Local Government Area.

Following a high-level bilateral meeting in Boston, Massachusetts, Dr. Anyaso confirmed a joint agreement with Mr. Shola Muyide, CEO of Communitywide Charities USA and Founder of the Communitywide Grassroots Organisation, Nigeria. The partnership will systematically establish fully functional community food banks across all 13 administrative wards of Bende Federal Constituency.

The intervention program is structured to provide periodic, structured dietary support to low-income families, vulnerable demographics, and individuals disproportionately impacted by the current macroeconomic climate. Beyond standard poverty alleviation metrics, the initiative intentionally addresses the psychological stigma associated with systemic hunger, preserving individual and community dignity.

Speaking shortly after the partnership ratification, Dr. Anyaso emphasized that sustainable political leadership must prioritize immediate structural social safety nets ahead of governance cycles.

“At the heart of this partnership is the unyielding belief that meaningful leadership goes beyond words,” Dr. Anyaso stated. “It is about building functional bridges, unlocking critical opportunities, and collaborating with cross-border, like-minded organizations to deliver practical, verifiable solutions that instantly improve human lives.”

Dr. Anyaso highly commended Mr. and Mrs. Shola Muyide and the executive board of Communitywide Charities for their rigorous commitment to civic service and their alignment with the foundation’s vision for decentralized regional development.

The progressive rollout of the 13-ward Bende food banks is slated to commence operational framework implementation immediately. The Chima Anyaso Foundation notes that this initiative represents the baseline phase of a broader multi-sectoral development agenda designed to promote socioeconomic empowerment and long-term community resilience throughout Bende.
