The United Nations Peace Ambassadors Foundation (UNPAF) has appointed Ambassador Jude Onochie Nwaukor as its Special Envoy Director, Security, Defence and Intelligence.

UNPAF, in a letter by its Chairman, Prof. Kingsley Chimdi Ossai, said the appointment is in recognition of Nwaukor’s exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment to peace building.

The letter reads: “It is with great honor and profound confidence that the United Nations Peace Ambassadors Foundation (UNPAF) formally appoints you, His Excellency Ambassador Jude Onochie Nwaukor, to the distinguished position of: Special Envoy Director, Security, Defence and Intelligence United Nations Peace Ambassadors Foundation (UNPAF).

“This appointment is in recognition of your exceptional leadership, unwavering commitment to peace building, and your vast experience in matters relating to security, defence, and intelligence. Your expertise and dedication to global peace and stability make you uniquely qualified to serve in this critical role.

“As Special Envoy Director, you are entrusted with the responsibility to: Provide strategic leadership and advisory on security, defence, and intelligence matters within the Foundation’s global initiatives.

“Strengthen partnerships with governmental, intergovernmental, and security institutions worldwide.

“Promote peace, conflict prevention, and intelligence-driven strategies that enhance global stability.

“Your role will be instrumental in advancing the mission and vision of UNPAF in fostering sustainable peace, security cooperation, and international collaboration.

“This appointment takes effect from the date of issuance of this letter and shall remain valid in accordance with the statute and regulations governing the United Nations Peace Ambassadors Foundation.

“We are confident that your tenure will bring impactful contributions and strengthen the Foundation’s global footprint in peace, security, and diplomatic engagement.
