Jalingo — The President of the Nigerian Community in Turkey, Prince Magboh, has congratulated Olatunji Ridwan Disu on his confirmation as the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), describing the development as a decisive step toward strengthening Nigeria’s security architecture.
In a statement signed by his media aide, Acho Righteous, Magboh expressed optimism that Disu’s leadership would enhance strategic crime-fighting, reinforce discipline within the police force, and rebuild public trust in law enforcement institutions.
He also commended President Bola Tinubu for what he described as a thoughtful decision, noting that effective policing is critical to the nation’s security.
According to him, “President Tinubu has made the right choice. With Inspector-General Disu at the helm, we are confident that Nigeria’s security system will become more effective, while collaboration between the police and communities will be strengthened.”
Magboh further reaffirmed the Nigerian Community in Turkey’s support for initiatives aimed at promoting peace, stability and safety across the country.
