Aigbona targets digital reputation management with PR firm

A certified public relations practitioner and brand communications expert, Kingsley Aigbona, has announced the relaunch of Brandwagon PR and Media, marking a new phase for the firm after a strategic pause in operations.

Brandwagon PR and Media, which had operated for several years, was temporarily placed on hiatus as Aigbona undertook a period of study and strategic review focused on emerging trends in reputation management and digital communication.

Explaining the decision, Aigbona said the break was intentional and aimed at strengthening the firm’s capacity to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving media landscape.

“We deliberately took time off active operations to study how reputation, media and public perception are changing globally. The digital space has evolved significantly, and we wanted Brandwagon PR to return stronger, smarter and better equipped,” he said.

With more than two decades of experience in public relations and brand management, Aigbona is widely recognised for his expertise in online reputation management, brand visibility, reputation revamping and personal brand development.

According to him, the relaunch of the firm comes at a critical time when individuals and organisations face increasing reputational risks in the fast-paced digital environment.

“Today, your reputation is shaped long before you enter the room. Search engines, social media and online conversations have become the new first impression, and managing that narrative strategically is no longer optional,” he noted.

He explained that Brandwagon PR and Media will provide services including online reputation audits, digital footprint clean-up, brand repositioning, personal branding strategy and reputation visibility campaigns. The firm will also offer advisory support in crisis communication and long-term brand perception management.

Beyond public relations practice, Aigbona is also involved in professional training and human capital development through The Learning Edge Limited, a platform where he has trained executives and employees across various industries.

He is also the author of The Z of Marketing: How I Make Rapid Sales and How You Too Can, a book endorsed by American author and business consultant Brian Tracy, who described it as “a practical guide based on proven experience that shows how to attract a steady stream of qualified customers.”

Speaking on the relationship between training and brand reputation, Aigbona said strong brands are built on internal competence and leadership.

“Strong brands are built from the inside out. You can’t separate external reputation from internal culture, competence and leadership. That understanding shapes how we approach our work at Brandwagon PR,” he said.

Based in Lagos, Aigbona continues to consult for organisations, professionals and brands seeking sustainable growth and credibility.

The relaunch of Brandwagon PR and Media, he said, reflects a renewed commitment to helping brands manage their narratives and build trust in an increasingly complex media environment.
