A businessman and philanthropist, Dr. Deji Adeleke, has been described as a rare gift to humanity in recognition of his contributions to society and philanthropic activities.

The Chairman of the Osun State Water Corporation, Mr. Samuel Oyedotun, made the remark in a statement issued at the weekend in Osogbo.

Oyedotun described the patriarch of the Adeleke family and elder brother to Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, as a man whose life reflects generosity, humility and commitment to service.

He noted that the impact of Dr. Adeleke’s philanthropic gestures has touched many lives, particularly among youths and emerging entrepreneurs.

According to him, celebrating a personality of Adeleke’s stature is difficult to fully capture, given the widespread recognition and goodwill his humanitarian efforts have attracted over the years.

“The life of Dr. Deji Adeleke reflects the timeless wisdom that the fragrance remains in the hand that gives the rose. Through his generosity and compassion, he has supported and uplifted many individuals,” he said.

Oyedotun added that Adeleke’s philanthropic spirit should serve as an inspiration to wealthy individuals, noting that acts of generosity could help create opportunities for many young people and reduce poverty.

He further stated that Adeleke’s success in business and philanthropy has influenced many young entrepreneurs across the world, including himself, urging youths to draw lessons from his achievements and commitment to excellence.
