The Kebbi State Government has declared that the newly completed Bola Ahmed Tinubu Secretariat in Birnin Kebbi is set to redefine governance and boost public service delivery across the state.

Commissioned and put to use to accommodate more than 25,000 workers, the ultra-modern complex is being described as a landmark achievement of Governor Nasir Idris’ administration.

The Commissioner of Information and Culture, Ahmed Yakubu, in a statement, said the massive edifice represents the administration’s commitment to creating a conducive working environment for civil servants while strengthening institutional capacity.

According to him, the secretariat is more than just a structure, stressing that it symbolizes efficiency, productivity and a renewed drive for excellence in governance.

“When performance meets elegance, style and individual capacity, results naturally follow,” the commissioner stated, noting that the new complex provides the ambience required for optimal performance.

Yakubu said the project has met public expectations, adding that Governor Idris demonstrated foresight and determination by completing the secretariat to serve as a rallying point for effective administration.

He disclosed that the Commissioner of Finance, Alhaji Abubakar Mohammed Birnin Kebbi, was among the first top officials to assume office in the new complex, describing the environment as spacious, elegant and befitting of modern governance.

“With this gigantic capacity-building edifice, which reflects the common desire of government officials to deliver, the future appears promising for Kebbi State,” Yakubu added.

He further emphasized that the secretariat stands as one of the best in the country, designed to enhance service delivery and motivate workers toward greater commitment to the development of the state.

The government reiterated its resolve to continue investing in infrastructure that directly impacts governance and improves the welfare and productivity of civil servants.
