KAFANCHAN — The Southern Kaduna APC Unity Forum has clarified that a recent rally in support of former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, does not reflect the views of Southern Kaduna stakeholders.

Speaking to journalists on Tuesday, the Forum said the gathering, reportedly organised under the African Democratic Congress (ADC) platform, did not have the mandate to speak on behalf of youths and women in the region.

Convener Edward John Auta Pama stated that the Forum supports ongoing investigations by relevant federal agencies, emphasising that such processes should proceed according to the law.

The group stressed that upholding legal processes strengthens democratic governance and reinforces the principle that no one is above the law.

The Forum also commended Governor Uba Sani and the federal government for their efforts to promote inclusion and development in Southern Kaduna.

Reaffirming allegiance to the All Progressives Congress (APC), the Forum pledged to mobilise support for the party’s candidates in the 2027 general elections. Members at the briefing displayed placards promoting transparency, accountability, and lawful governance.
