Nigerian midfielder Aaron Kaave has returned to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) after finalizing a move to Kun Khalifat FC, marking a new chapter in his career following a spell abroad.
According to a family source, Kaave began his professional journey in Nigeria with Garden City Panthers FC before seeking opportunities overseas. He signed with Nanook FC, a Turkish-owned Canadian football initiative, as part of his transition to international football.
He stated that Kaave later relocated to Turkey to further his career, “but injuries disrupted his progress and restricted his playing time during his stint abroad.
“Now 22, Kaave has successfully completed his registration with Kun Khalifat FC ahead of the transfer deadline and is eligible to feature in the ongoing NPFL season.
“Comfortable as an attacking midfielder and capable of playing on the left wing, Kaave brings creativity, pace, and energy to his new side.
“Known for his vision, close control, and endurance, his addition is expected to strengthen Kun Khalifat FC’s attacking depth as the league campaign gathers momentum,” he stated.
