Idowu Ayoola Oluwadurotimi, professionally known as DJ Yorgzy and popularly called “The Scarf DJ,” is a Nigerian-born, Lagos-based DJ celebrated for his signature blindfolded performance style and over a decade of mastery on the turntables, currently serving as the official DJ for DBanj.

Following a string of sold-out performances across Canada and the United Kingdom, the internationally acclaimed turntable maestro has officially returned to Nigeria to launch what is already being described as one of the biggest raves of the season: The Scarf Experience. 

Renowned globally as “The Scarf DJ,” Yorgzy has spent more than 10 years perfecting the art of crate-digging, crowd-reading, and high-energy performance. During his recent international tour, he collaborated with the Zero Gravity Tour, delivering electrifying shows in major UK cities including London, Glasgow, Manchester, and Birmingham. He also headlined his own major event in Aberdeen, Scotland, further cementing his growing influence across Europe.

After electrifying audiences across North America and Europe, Yorgzy made a commanding impact back home during Nigeria’s iconic “Detty December” festivities, consolidating his reputation as a cultural force within the country’s nightlife and entertainment scene. Now, he is poised to elevate the experience even further as he prepares to launch the maiden edition of The Scarf Experience on March 21 at Lekki, Lagos.
