Vitafoam Nigeria Plc has recorded a strong financial turnaround for the year ended 30 September 2025, posting sharp growth in revenue and profitability despite ongoing macroeconomic pressures in Nigeria’s manufacturing sector.
The company reported revenue of N111.4 billion, representing an increase of about 35 per cent year-on-year, driven by resilient demand for foam mattresses and bedding products, improved pricing strategies, and stronger distribution execution across Nigeria and select regional markets.
Profit before tax rose significantly to approximately N21.5 billion, compared with N1.1 billion in the previous year, while profit after tax increased to N14.5 billion from N774 million. The results reflect improved margins, higher volumes, and disciplined cost management.
Following the improved performance, Vitafoam’s Board of Directors announced a dividend of N3.00 per share and a 1-for-5 bonus issue, signalling confidence in the sustainability of earnings and a commitment to shareholder returns while strengthening the company’s equity base.
The company said demand across its core product lines remained resilient throughout the financial year, supported by strong brand equity and established retail relationships. Improved pricing discipline and operational efficiencies also contributed to the earnings recovery.
The positive financial results have been reflected in the company’s share price performance on the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX). The turnaround also contributed to the recognition of Vitafoam’s Group Managing Director, Taiwo Adeniyi, as one of the top ten chief executive officers of listed companies delivering notable capital appreciation on the NGX in 2025.
Looking ahead, Vitafoam said it plans to sustain growth through continued investment in product quality, production modernisation, supply chain optimisation and selective regional expansion, while maintaining a balance between reinvestment and shareholder returns.
Vitafoam’s subsidiaries include Vitapur Nigeria Ltd., Vitablom Nigeria Ltd., Vitavisco Nigeria Ltd., Vono Nigeria Ltd., Vitafoam Sierra Leone Ltd. and Vitapart Nigeria Ltd., which collectively produce a range of foam, bedding, insulation and lifestyle support products.
