In a heartwarming start to its 2026 humanitarian activities, Atjoda Hope Foundation brought relief and renewed hope to vulnerable children at Tabitha’s Humanitarian Orphanage Home in Ndai, Panyam District, Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State.

The outreach underscores the urgent need to support orphans and disadvantaged youths in rural communities.

Leading the delegation, the Foundation’s Chief Executive Officer, Chief (Mrs) Josephine Abbas Dayilim, highlighted the mission to assist orphans, widows, and youths at risk of poverty and social vices.

“Our mission is to restore dignity and hope to the vulnerable. When children are abandoned to hardship, society is already failing them. We cannot look away,” Dayilim said.

She personally presented food items, toiletries, and exercise books, emphasising that both welfare and education are essential tools in giving children a future.

“Every child deserves the chance to learn, to eat well, and to grow with confidence. Even the smallest support can change a life,” she added.

Receiving the donations, CEO of Tabitha’s Humanitarian Foundation, Mr. Asabar Ali, expressed sincere gratitude.

“These items will directly meet our daily needs and enhance the learning of our children. The challenges are many, but gestures like this remind us that we are not alone,” he said.

Board members of Atjoda Hope Foundation, including Ms. Martha Daspan, alongside local leaders such as Chief Nathan Fyamang, the Mangu Local Government Traditional Chief’s Representative, and Hon. Miss Patience Amos, Supervisory Councillor for Social Services, encouraged the children to remain hopeful and focused on their education.

Special prayers were offered for the orphanage and for continued collaboration between the foundations.
In a symbolic gesture, Chief Mrs. Dayilim sought royal blessings from the District Head of Mangu, HRH Da Moses Dawop, who commended the outreach and prayed for the Foundation’s continued success.

“This is the kind of sacrifice our society needs. God will reward this labour of love and open more doors for your humanitarian journey,” the monarch said.

The outreach marks the beginning of Atjoda Hope Foundation’s 2026 initiatives, reinforcing its commitment to improving the welfare, education, and opportunities of orphans, widows, and vulnerable families across Plateau State and beyond.
