THE Police in Kogi Friday arrested a group of armed robbery suspects who allegedlly hacked to death Miss Idowu Aliyu, last weekend  in Okene Local Government Area of the state.

Miss Idowu, a student of Shool of Heailth Technology, Zamfara State was accosted by a group of three armed men last weekend at a near by bush at about 3 kilometers to the Okene main town where they strangulated her and thereafter hit her on the head with iron rod.

The State Commissioner of Policen Mohammed Katsina, who confirmed the arrest while briefing newsmen said a team of crack detectives acting on intellengece information arrested the hoodlums when they were preparing to butcher the corpse of the young lady.

He said”the suspects were also responsible for the killing of a woman,two kids and a police woman in the vicinity and reportedly ate their flesh.
