ENUGU — An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain and Enugu State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Agenda 2027, Dr. Ezenwa A.A. Onyirimba, has commended the party’s National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, describing his leadership as strategic and inspiring.

Onyirimba said Yilwatda’s action plans and leadership style have injected new energy into the party at what he described as a crucial moment in its political evolution.

Speaking in Enugu, Onyirimba said the APC is currently undergoing a period of renewal and repositioning, with Yilwatda’s emergence bringing innovative thinking and clarity of purpose to the party’s direction.

He praised the APC chairman for drawing from his background in academia, technocracy and public administration to strengthen internal party structures and decision-making processes.

“His leadership has become a source of renewed confidence for party members and stakeholders across the country,” Onyirimba said.

According to him, Nigeria requires modern, data-driven political leadership grounded in practical governance, qualities he said are reflected in Yilwatda’s approach.

He added that the APC chairman’s policies and administrative style have helped stabilise the party and improve cohesion nationwide.

Onyirimba also noted that, as the country moves towards the next electoral cycle, Yilwatda is seen within the party as a key strategic asset for strengthening internal unity and electoral preparedness.

He said the forthcoming party congresses and the 2026 National Convention present an opportunity for the party to consolidate recent reforms and deepen internal democracy.

He urged party members to support efforts aimed at strengthening stability, unity and organisational effectiveness within the APC.
