2027: Why Senator Adeola deserves Ogun gov’s shot — CLERIC

Presiding Prophet of CCC Genesis Global, Prophet Israel Oladele Ogundipe, aka Prophet Genesis, has declared his full support for Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI), describing the Ogun West lawmaker as his preferred choice for the 2027 Ogun governorship race.

The cleric made the declaration in a statement released by his media team as part of activities heralding the 2025 edition of his church’s annual harvest, insisting that Senator Adeola has demonstrated uncommon passion for the welfare and progress of the people of Ogun State.

Prophet Genesis said his support for the Ilaro-born senator stems from their shared values and commitment to humanitarian service, noting that YAYI’s track record of developmental projects across the state stands him out as the most credible choice to succeed Governor Dapo Abiodun.

According to him, “Senator YAYI has tried for the good people of Ogun State, not only for Yewa and Ogun West Senatorial District. It is obvious that he is passionate about human capital development and socio-economic growth. That is why he keeps doing what he is doing across the state.”

The cleric listed some of the senator’s interventions to include rehabilitation of community roads, extensive youth and women empowerment programmes, the construction and equipping of schools and hospitals, and the provision of electricity transformers to underserved communities.

He added that with such a track record, an Adeola governorship would, in his view, usher in greater prosperity for Ogun State.

“It is obvious that when this kind of man becomes Governor, Ogun State will be more prosperous; the people will enjoy and rejoice, and the state will become the envy of others,” he said.

Prophet Genesis further disclosed that his support goes beyond public endorsement, revealing that he has mobilised over 1,000 prayer champions to intercede spiritually for Senator Adeola’s governorship ambition.

While declaring his support, the cleric appealed to the senator to assist in facilitating the rehabilitation of the Egbado Road in Ifo Local Government Area, describing it as a major concern for residents.

Meanwhile, preparations have commenced for the church’s annual harvest celebration, scheduled to begin on December 19 with a “Night of the Prophetic and Praise.” Guest ministers expected at the event include Tobi Akuraku, Erneiola Olusoga, Minister Olamilekan, Dare Oxygen, Titilayo Euba, Glorious Twins and Ccioma.

The programme will climax on December 21 with a Thanksgiving Service and an outreach where raw food items will be distributed to support families for the Christmas celebration.
