ABUJA – Federal Government, yesterday, vowed to implement all the recommendations of reports submitted to it by the visitation panels to 41 institutions of higher learning.
Minister of Education, Prof. Ruqqayat Rufa’i, who said this during the submission of reports on Federal colleges of education and polytechnics in Abuja, stated that no indicted institution or person would be spared.
She said: “Ministry of Education will work assiduously to ensure that the recommendations of those reports are used to add value to tertiary education.
“Let me also assure all stakeholders that the ministry will deal decisively with any person found culpable in those reports as there will be no sacred cows.”
It would be recalled that the Federal Government, on March 29, constituted panels to investigate activities of the 41 federal polytechnics and colleges of education nationwide in the past eight years.
