The Nigeria Police Force has declared Lillian Gold, a 42-year-old woman from Edo State, wanted for alleged criminal conspiracy, murder, arson, and incitement of violence against the police.

The charges stem from the December 3, 2022, attack and burning of the Ogida Police Station in Benin City, an incident that resulted in the tragic death of a police officer and extensive destruction of the police facility.

According to a police gazette made available to our correspondent by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Chidi Nwabuzor, the suspect is believed to have played a significant role in inciting the violence that led to the deadly incident.

The police have appealed to members of the public for assistance in locating and apprehending the suspect. She is described as follows: black complexion, brown eyes, black hair, 5 feet 2 inches height, and last known address: No. 7, Osamuyi Lane, Off Uwelu Road, Benin City.
