The Alake of Egbaland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo III, is set to confer two esteemed traditional titles on Chief Adeoluwa Michael Adeshola — fondly known as Adesh Billionaire – the Group Chief Executive Officer of Arzikin Noma Nigeria Limited. The recognition comes as part of the Alake’s 20th Coronation Anniversary celebrations.
On Saturday, October 26, 2024, Chief Adeshola will officially receive the title Fiwagbayi of Ijaye Kurunmi Egba. The celebrations will culminate on Friday, November 15, 2024, when he will be further decorated as the Aare Akinfimitotolu of Egbaland during a grand ceremony at Ake Palace, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
A respected entrepreneur and philanthropist, Chief Adeshola has built an impressive legacy of leadership and innovation. As Group CEO of Arzikin Noma Nigeria Limited, he has transformed the company into a leading force in Africa’s agribusiness landscape.
Under his leadership, Arzikin Noma has championed food security, sustainable agriculture, and youth empowerment through strategic partnerships with international agricultural organizations — boosting production capacity, supporting smallholder farmers, and introducing modern processing technologies across Nigeria’s agricultural value chain.
Reacting to the honor, Chief Adeshola expressed heartfelt appreciation to the Alake and the people of Egbaland, describing the recognition as “a call to deeper service and greater responsibility.” He said, “I am profoundly grateful for this recognition. These titles remind me of my heritage, my duty to contribute to community development, and the need to preserve our culture while fostering progress across generations.”
His dedication to business excellence and philanthropy continues to inspire many. The honors conferred by Oba Gbadebo celebrate not only his accomplishments but also his unwavering commitment to leadership, cultural preservation, and the advancement of Egbaland’s legacy.
As dignitaries, family, and well-wishers prepare to converge on Abeokuta for the celebrations, anticipation runs high for what promises to be a momentous occasion — a fitting tribute to a man whose vision, service, and impact have left an indelible mark on both his community and the nation.
