The Institute of Management Consultants (IMC), Nigeria, has conferred its prestigious Fellowship on Oyinomomo-emi Emmanuel Akpe, recognising his outstanding contributions to digital transformation, industrial operations, and project management.

The Fellowship, the highest professional honour of the Institute, places Akpe among a select group of leaders whose work has raised industry standards and driven measurable impact.

As Senior Technical Program Manager at Beego Waters, Akpe has led projects integrating IoT-enabled monitoring, enterprise resource planning (ERP), and predictive maintenance systems that have transformed manufacturing efficiency and governance.

One of his landmark achievements was developing an IoT intelligence system that reduced downtime by 38% and raised throughput by 21%.

He also spearheaded a $1.2 million ERP implementation that boosted order accuracy by 44% and enhanced cross-departmental visibility.

His logistics innovations, including a GPS-based fleet platform, cut fuel costs by 27% and improved delivery performance from 81% to 95%.

Under his leadership, quality control and compliance systems were fully digitized, achieving 100% audit readiness and reducing paperwork by 90%.

Reflecting on the honour, Akpe said: “This Fellowship is a call to deepen practical capacity. It is about building systems where data, process, and people work together. Technology is only powerful when teams can use it reliably, transparently, and ethically.”

A certified management consultant and AWS Solutions Architect, Akpe holds a Master’s in Information Technology Management and is pursuing doctoral studies in Project Management at the University of the Cumberlands.

He was previously named a Fellow of the Commonwealth Academy of Leadership & Management (UK).

By conferring its Fellowship, the IMC affirms Akpe’s leadership as a bridge between practice, governance, and scholarship: an exemplar of how digital innovation can drive ethical, transparent, and sustainable progress in Nigeria’s industrial landscape.
