The Think Yoruba First ,TYF, a Pan-Yoruba socio-cultural organization, has hailed President Bola Tinubu’s recent signing of the Tax Reform Bill into law, describing it as a bold step towards a brighter future for Nigeria.

In a statement, TYF’s Public Relations Officer, Montero Olawale, posited that Tinubu’s accenting the bill is is a win worthy of legends.

The group while commending the President said, “We thank President Bola Tinubu for winning this battle of wits, resilience, and ideology.

The group stressed that the Tax Reform Law is one of the most brilliant and holistic ways to fight poverty, as it lifts a heavy burden off the shoulders of low-income earners and ensures that poverty is not taxed.

“Emphasis must be laid on the heavy burden lifted off the shoulders of low-income earners and making sure that poverty is not taxed; this is one of the most brilliant and wholistic ways to fight poverty,” TYF said.

The group also praised the Chairman of the Tax Reform Committee, Mr. Taiwo Oyedele, for his efforts, saying, “We must also appreciate the efforts of the chairman of the Tax Reform Committee- Mr. Taiwo Oyedele, for his persistence, patience, quick thinking, native intelligence, and diplomacy displayed during the difficult times.”

TYF expressed its full support for the President’s audacious reforms, believing that only a daring Awoist like Tinubu can set the country on the path of fairness, peace, and greatness.

“We are throwing our full weight behind the intrepid moves of our President because we believe only a daring Awoist can set this Country on the path of fairness, peace and greatness,”
