Minutes after a strategic meeting involving ousted Lagos State Speaker Mudashiru Obasa, Speaker Mojisola Lasbat Meranda, Lagos State Attorney General Lawal Mohammed Alade Pedro (SAN), APC Chairman Cornelius Ojelabi, and 38 lawmakers at the assembly garden, Meranda is now presiding over today’s plenary session.

Obasa was noticeably absent as lawmakers convened, with some APC chieftains in attendance.

Earlier, Vanguard reported that the Lagos State Police Command had deployed personnel to the assembly complex to maintain security and prevent any disruptions.
