The Northward School of Management and Health Technology (NSMHT) Nigeria has reaffirmed its commitment to providing students with international academic and professional opportunities through strategic global partnerships.

Speaking at the institution’s Second Matriculation Ceremony on Saturday, Acting Registrar Pst. Pius Odey declared that NSMHT’s collaboration with global institutions ensures graduates are well-positioned for career success beyond Nigeria.

“Our students now have study opportunities in Cameroon, Ghana, India, and other countries. But this comes with responsibility. Hard work and proper documentation are essential for those looking to benefit from these partnerships,” Odey said.

The Rector of NSMHT, Rev. Chris O. Ebeku, emphasized that the school’s mission is to develop leaders through entrepreneurship education, equipping them to partner with governments and drive private-sector-led high-quality education.

“Our goal is to produce professionals who will not only excel in their chosen fields but also contribute meaningfully to society,” Ebeku stated.

Dr. George Tankoh, Director of Supreme International University Institute of Health and Development Studies (SIHIHDES), Yaoundé, Cameroon, urged the 43 matriculating students to take full advantage of NSMHT’s global affiliations.

“As you embark on this journey, education is not just about acquiring knowledge; it’s about critical thinking, resilience, and building lasting connections,” Tankoh noted in a communiqué read by Odey.

NSMHT’s partnerships extend to renowned institutions such as:
Africa Institute of Public Administration, Accra, Ghana
London Bridge Business School, United Kingdom
International Academy for Gender and Peace, Nigeria
Meridian Global University, Cameroon
Supreme International University Institute of Health and Development Studies (SIHIHDES), Cameroon.

These affiliations provide students with study-abroad opportunities, cross-border academic exchanges, and access to international faculty expertise.

The ceremony also featured the induction of accomplished Nigerians into the Fellowship and Membership cadre of the Africa Institute of Public Administration (AIPA), Accra, Ghana.

Three distinguished individuals were conferred Fellowship status, including:

Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, Commandant General, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Abuja, Hon. Boniface Okache, Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor of Cross River State and Dr. Icha Itomo Mbotor

Additionally, 15 professionals were inducted as Certified Public Administrators (CPAs), including: Chief Utre Utre Elijah

SC Grace A. Osim-Ekpe, Hon. Dr. Moses Agboyero, Rev. Christopher Okori Ebeku, Commandant Charles Brown, CSP Bala Alfred Talum

Mr. Williams Archibong Jnr., a geospatial expert and CPA inductee, described the recognition as motivational.
“This proves that hard work is acknowledged. Dedication to duty distinguishes an individual. I am encouraged to do more for humanity,” he stated.

Dignitaries at the event included the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ogoja Police Station, CSP Alfred Bala Talum, and the Ogoja Unit Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Commander Ukpabio Greatness Essien, alongside officials from partnering institutions.

Prof. Ojua Takim Asu, who conducted the induction on behalf of the Chairman of the AIPA Governing Council, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ben Nwankwo, assured inductees of continuous professional development programs across Africa.

The matriculation ceremony underscored NSMHT’s role in bridging the gap between Nigerian students and global career opportunities through academic excellence and international collaboration.
