The Coalition of Nigerian Youth Leaders, CONYL, a body of youth group leaders drawn from the six geopolitical zones of the country has lauded the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Senator George Akume for inspiring belief and confidence in the youths to appreciate the efforts President Bola Tinubu is making to improve the lives of Nigerians.

The group in a statement weekend by its President General, Comrade Goodluck Ibem, commended President Tinubu for identifying the exceptional leadership qualities of Senator Akume and appointing him the SGF noting that his tireless commitment to enhancing the efficiency of the Nigerian government and driving key policy initiatives had not gone unnoticed.

CONYL pointed out that “Senator Akume’s visionary leadership in managing national affairs and ensuring smooth coordination between various government agencies has significantly contributed to the progress we are witnessing today. 

“Despite the complex challenges faced by the government, the commitment of the SGF to ensuring seamless governance has been unwavering. His leadership traits in streamlining government operations and fostering transparency has set a new standard of efficiency.

“The strategic direction of the SGF in coordinating government policies has been crucial in fostering national development. The office of the SGF has efficiently monitored and coordinated the implementation of government policies and programmes; served as frontline advisory institution of the Presidency; driven policy formulation, harmonization, and implementation; and monitored institutions of governance which has made a profound impact on governance and national development.

“We the Nigerian Youths appreciate President Bola Tinubu for appointing Senator Akume as the SGF. He is a round peg in a round hole.

“We urge all and sundry to continue to support the administration of President Bola Tinubu and his team as they take the nation to greater heights.”
