The Ibadan Mega Voice, an association of Ibadan indigenes excelling in various communication fields, has praised Brigadier General Saheed Olalekan Sadiq for his exemplary service and dedication to safeguarding Nigeria’s integrity amid ongoing security challenges.

Recently promoted to the rank of Brigadier General in the Nigerian Army, the group said, Sadiq’s new role highlighted his commitment to national security and community pride.

In a statement on Sunday, Aare Kola Olomide, President of the Ibadan Mega Voice, highlighted Sadiq’s contributions, noting that he has consistently demonstrated “exemplary service and unwavering dedication.”

He added that this promotion “not only reflects his personal excellence but also brings immense pride to Ibadan and its people.”

Hailing from Agbo Ile Otubu loogun Idi oro Olosoosi in Elekuro, Ibadan, and representing Abuuku Village in the Oluyole Local Government Area, Brig. Gen. Sadiq currently serves at the Headquarters Sector 2, Operation HADIN KAI in Damaturu, Yobe State.

Olomide pointed out that his promotion reflected not only personal excellence but also the high standards expected of military leadership during a time when the nation faces significant security issues.

Be further expressed the community’s admiration, stating, “We celebrate this milestone achievement and wish him continued success as he serves our great nation with honor and distinction.”

Olomide highlighted the importance of Sadiq’s leadership in inspiring others, saying, “Your commitment to safeguarding our nation’s integrity is commendable.”
