Mrs Cordelia Ogbonne Anibeze (nee Ezeilo) the mother of our Saturday Editor, Onochie Anibeze has passed on.

She died in Enugu on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2024, after a brief illness.

She was 94. She was survived by Moses Anibeze, Charles Anibeze, Professor Chike Anibeze, Director of Academic Planning at Enugu State University, Onochie Anibeze, and Mrs Vivian Iworah (nee Anibeze).

The late Anibeze was a staunch Catholic and one-time Zonal President of the Catholic Women Organisation at Trans Ekulu in Enugu. The family will announce burial plans with time.
