Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Nasir Idris, has presented a proposed budget of ₦580.32 billion for the 2025 fiscal year to the State House of Assembly.
Tagged the “Budget of Economic and Infrastructural Consolidation,” the proposed plan aims to drive economic growth and improve infrastructure across the state.
Governor Idris disclosed that ₦453 billion has been earmarked for capital projects, while ₦127 billion is allocated for recurrent expenditure.
In response, the Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Mohammed Samaila Bagudo, assured the governor of the legislature’s commitment to a speedy review and passage of the budget.
The proposed budget reflects the administration’s focus on sustainable development and long-term prosperity for Kebbi State.
