In a bid to drive transformation for women and youths, a non-governmental organization, Women Support Care and Initiative, Woscin, has called on women to invest in personal development saying such step is not a luxury but a way to build up capacity.
President of Woscin, Omolara Quadry said, engaging in personal development is an investment especially for women both young and old that yields remarkable returns.
Her words: “Technology can improve women’s lives, building digital skills, promoting financial inclusion, and increasing access to information. Digital skills training can empower women to participate in household and community decision-making, enhancing their economic power.
“Technology would benefit Nigeria despite its challenges as we are still developing mostly in economic growth, education, and communication. Being technology savvy improves job performance, quality of life, and specific technical skills.
“It encompasses a range of activities, experiences, and learning that aim to enhance new skills, knowledge, mindset, and overall well-being.
“At Woscin, we are advocates for women’s empowerment across all facets of life. Our unwavering mission is to uplift and inspire women and youth, equipping them with the essential resources and support they require to thrive.
“With years of pastoral insight and a profound understanding of women’s needs within the church, we are committed to making a significant impact”, she said.
