One of the most historic moments of any footballer is to score in the first match for their new team. The goal scored helps a player settle down quickly and earns them trust from the coach.
This new season across Europe, a lot of players have scored on their debuts. This article shall take a look at them.
Joshua Zirkzee (Manchester United)

Signed from Bologna for £35million, the striker made his debut when he came on for Marcus Rashford in a home match versus Fulham. Minutes later, Zirkzee scored the only goal in that encounter. It was a very important goal as it secured all three points for Manchester United.
Amadu Onana (Aston Villa)

The Belgian international was signed from Everton and went on to score on his league debut. His goal came in the 4th minute in an encounter against West Ham away from home.
Gabriel Misehouy (Girona)

Arriving from Ajax as a free agent, Misehouy came on for Girona in the 72nd minute for his debut and secured a point for Girona versus Real Betis, a match which ended in 1 – 1
Joao Felix (Chelsea)

Making his second debut for Chelsea, Joao Felix added to Chelsea’s tally of goals when he scored against Wolves away from home.
Dani Olmo (Barcelona)

Dani Olmo had to wait after two matches before Barcelona was able to register him. When he eventually made his debut versus Rayo Vallecano, he showed what Barcelona had been missing by scoring the winner in a dramatic 2-1 away win.
Endrick (Real Madrid)

The young Brazilian is one of the brightest youngsters in world football today. Endrick came on for Real Madrid in their 3-0 home win against Real Valladolid and scored the third goal.
Romelu Lukaku (Napoli)

After finally settling down for a transfer to Napoli, Lukaku scored the equaliser when he came on from the bench in the second half as Napoli came from behind to beat ten-man Parma. Zambo Anguissa eventually scored the winner in that encounter.
