Nollywood actress Caroline Hutchings, who has always courted controversy following her past dealings with men, may have no regret at whatever life has thrown at her.
But certainly, the beautiful mother of three children cannot deny the fact that she’s been troubled in recent times by two things; the loss of her identity and dreams after she divorced her billionaire ex-husband, Musa Danjuma in 2016.
In an Instagram post days back, the ageless actress reminisced on her journey of life, recalling how she started from scratch again after facing all kinds of discrimination, fake rumours, rejections and uncertainties at the age of 29.
She confessed, “I was once a promising makeup artist and hair guru, actress, film producer, fashion consultant, CEO Luxury Addict, CEO Kinetic Media. But I lost my identity and dreams because of divorce. I walked away from them all for my own sanity. I started my journey from scratch facing all the fake rumors, discriminations, rejections and uncertainties at 29 years; a conversation that women who have walked the same path hate to talk about; a bittersweet journey to a place unknown. This is my story. How I was able to become better than who I was financially and mentally,” she wrote.
The actress, also in another post advised women to invest in themselves, stressing that “as a woman your greatest weapon is your education and skills, if anyone can take away anything from you, no one can take your knowledge academically and your skills.” .
Recall that Caroline got married to Musa in 2007, and announced their divorce in 2016 after spending nine years together. Their union was blessed with three children.
