ABUJA – AS education remains bedrock of development, the Stanley Jegede Foundation, SJF, has partnered Create That Change Development Initiative, to empower underserved communities with books and strengthen functional libraries.

This was made known in a statement by SJF, where it pointed out that equipping these communities with essential learning resources, the Foundation strives to cultivate a love for reading and enhance overall literacy skills.

The Statement reads in part, “Stanley Jegede Foundation, SJF, a leading non-governmental organization dedicated to empowering Africa’s less privileged population, announces a collaborative effort with Create That Change Development Initiative.

“This partnership focuses on procuring books to establish and strengthen functional libraries within underserved communities.

“The initiative aligns with SJF’s commitment to providing comprehensive literacy programmes that combine home-language classroom instruction with well-equipped libraries.

“By equipping these communities with essential learning resources, the Foundation strives to cultivate a love for reading and enhance overall literacy skills. Strong literacy forms the bedrock of a well-rounded education, empowering individuals to pursue their aspirations and actively contribute to society.”

Meanwhile, the Executive Chairman, Stanley Jegede Foundation and Phase 3 Telecom, Stanley Jegede, said: “At the Stanley Jegede Foundation, we believe that access to quality education is a fundamental right, not a privilege.

Through this partnership, SJF aims to bridge the educational gap for children and young people residing in underserved areas.
