… welcomes Bamikole Omishore into the fold
Party stakeholders in Ife East Local Government have endorsed the Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, for a second term in office.
This is even as they accorded a grand welcome reception to their son and Special Adviser on Sustainable Development Goals and Multilateral Relations to Governor Adeleke and a cabinet member of the Osun State Executive Council, Bamikole Omishore.
Omishore used the occasion to support the welfarist and pro-people administration of Governor Adeleke by distributing palliative items to 300 households to ameliorate their plight.
In a chat with reporters on Tuesday, Omishore said: “The Yesterday was a huge, spectacular comeback to my constituency, Ife East, comprising of 7 wards in Ile Ife and 3 in Modakeke in Osun State.
“I had an extensive meeting with extended executive council of the two local government areas. I highlighted the significant role that my principal, the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, has taken in areas of infrastructural development.
“In addition to meeting with the Exco, party leaders, and leaders in every ward, I was able to present palliative items to 300 families to support the ongoing empowerment programmes that the state administration is working on to cushion effect of the economic challenges some indigenes of the state might be experiencing.
“Big appreciation goes to my principal, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, leader of PDP in Ife East, Prof. Wale Ladipo, my dearest egbon the ever dedicated and loyal Deputy Governor, His Excellency Prince Kolawole Adewusi, Local Government chairmen, Ile-Ife and Modakeke party leaders, and their Excos, and all members of our party in Ife East.”
Palliative items distributed by Omishore include: 250 bags of 3 KG rice to be shared in 10 wards; 250 bags of 2kg semo to be shared in 10 wards; 10 bags of 50 KG rice to be shared with party leaders; 300 bags of smoked fish, 300 Gino tomatoes, 300 jumbos, 300 Party Jollof paste, 300 Bama, and cash for party members.
